- Abstract
The article discusses the changes in the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (Federal Rules) that affect the time of filing for document or pleading in federal district on December 1, 2009 in Utah. The U.S. District Court in the state modifies the timing provisions for its local rules that affect the calculations of deadlines for filing documents in accordance to the Rules. Also mentions is the state courts which make the deadlines more uniform in the calculations affecting the civil trial practice.
