- Abstract
The article focuses on the contribution of Jacob Pressman, a Jewish rabbi, on spreading Judaism in the U.S. As a rabbi, Presman has engaged in the musical productions, a preacher, a counselor and a scholar at the Temple Beth Am in Los Angeles, California. His knowledge on the Jewish religion is due to his education at the Jewish Theological Seminary in 1941. He was able to practice his rabbi career when he entered at the Sinai Temple. However, he was able to find fulfillment and satisfaction as a rabbi at the Beth Am Temple because he enjoyed the teaching, preaching and interaction with the congregants.
