- Abstract
The article offers information about the Radoff family who used to live in Houston, Texas, way back 1888-1948. The Radoff family came to settle in Texas after Henry V. Radoff acquired a singular and unusual house situated near the foot of Stanley Street and was designed by Koffmann in 1883. Considered as the biggest in the neighborhood, the house was lived by Henry and her wife, along with his children Maurice, Jake, Frieda, Mollie, and Max. Their businesses, which operated between 1919 and 1948, include one which housed at Franklin and Milam and another which was called the Radoff Notions Co. merchandising various goods.
