The article focuses on the features of the present adversarial system in the U.S. that help in searching the truth in cases related to the conviction of innocent people and highlights the emerging record of false convictions the U.S. It also presents information on the introduction of the new system Office of Public Advocacy in which lawyers acts as prosecutors and defense attorneys and adversarial prosecutor along with defense attorney share the inquisitorial process of case investigation.
