The article presents the authors's perspective on the argument between Russian geologist Peter Kropotkin and English biologist Thomas Henry Huxley on the evolution of man. He is critical on the differences of between Kropotkin's and Huxley's basic inclinations of humans. Meanwhile, the author believes that the views of the two embody truth and illuminates the history of biophysical and cultural evolution.
