- Abstract
The article describes the sessions of the Circolo Medievistico Romano in the year 2022, which took place online or in a hybrid format due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Various lectures on topics such as the presence of Emperors Otto II and Otto III in Rome, public debt in the Crown of Aragon, judges in Pisa in the 12th century, the intellectual activity of Lorenzo of Amalfi, and the interpretation of the Franciscan Rule by the popes are analyzed. In addition, new archaeological findings on the medieval settlement history in Latium and the crusade preaching against the Ottomans in the 15th century are examined.
