- Abstract
The article examines the problems with the current approach of the federal circuit courts of appeals to limiting instructions and relevant Federal Rules of Evidence: Rules 404(b), 403, and 105. It mentions tendency of federal circuit courts of appeals to accept that limiting instructions magically cure any prejudice resulting from admission of other-acts evidence. It also mentions federal circuit courts of appeals could contribute to improving limiting instructions in other-acts evidence.
