- Abstract
In this work, we simulated the distributions of positrons with different kinetic energies as a function of linear transverse and angular deflections from the electron beam axis and the exit time produced upon normal incidence of "needle-like" "instantaneous" electron beams with kinetic energies E– = 55, 220, 1000 MeV on optimal converter targets (at the exit from the converters). The calculation results are compared with the available published data and experimental requirements.
