- Abstract
The article describes the additive manufacturing of a saw-cut model in dental technology using the software didex. The software allows dental technicians to produce PINDEX models using 3D printing and combine the digital workflow with manual steps. Various options are offered for the basing of the model and printing a standard model or a PINDEX model. The didex software also allows for the creation of highly precise implant models. The finished printed saw model corresponds in haptics and optics to a conventional plaster model and meets the high requirements of a master laboratory.
