- Abstract
The article presents information on an empirical study revealing modern history of death penalty in Delaware. It discusses certain cases involving racial disparities, judge-jury sentencing differences, and reversal rates in the context of death sentencing. It informs that three different sets of data were used in the study, created using Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) database, Supplementary Homicide Reports of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Capital Trials dataset.
