The article offers information on use of medieval religious writing in early modern print culture to demonstrate early modern spirituality. It discusses the Elizabeth Eisenstein authored book "The Printing Revolution in Early Modern England" that reflects on awareness of religious and sociopolitical values in modern editions. It discusses early modern incarnations of the book "The Book of Margery Kempe: A Shorte Treatyse of Contemplacyon," printed by publisher Wynkyn de Worde.
