- Abstract
The article discusses information about adenomyosis and its impact on fertility. Adenomyosis is a benign disorder previously associated with multiparity. Around 20 percent of cases of adenomyosis involve women younger than 40 and 80 percent are aged 40 to 50. The diagnosis was made by means of histopathologic examination.
