- Abstract
This article summarizes a study on multiple system atrophy (MSA), a neurodegenerative disorder. The study found a GAA repeat expansion in the FGF14 gene in MSA patients, suggesting that FGF14 may be associated with the disease. However, more research is needed to fully understand the implications of this finding. The study also emphasizes the importance of considering other potential diagnoses when diagnosing MSA.
