- Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors for providing a background of healthcare needs of refugee and demonstrating the importance and opportunities of the role nursing plays in accommodating and partnering with refugees. Topics discussed include requirement of understanding and knowledge of the role culture plays for providing holistic care of the refugee population, growth of new areas of nursing education and development of programs assessing patients at the center.
