- Abstract
The article presents a study on the effects of prostaglandins from zoanthid in Japan. Two prostaglandin hormones, PGA2 and PGB2, were accidentally found in the specie in search for antineoplastic agents. PGA2 hormones act as microtubules stabilizing agents while PGB2 does not elicit action on the neural junction, hence, serves as inhibitor to the function of PGA2.
