- Abstract
Experimental studies are performed under industrial conditions for slaked lime production waste, i.e., microcrystalline calcium hydroxide (MCH), as a sorbent. Results are given for quantitative chemical analysis of MCH samples. Analysis of MCH selective sorption capacity is performed by a gravimetric method with respect to chemical elements from the difference in sample weight before and after an experiment. Sorption capacity of MCH and AC with respect to Cl, F, S, and metals is calculated for comparative analysis.
