- Abstract
Based on the analysis results of one-dimensional steady compressible ideal flow in the parallel disc gap, the Mach number and friction coefficient distributions of the one-dimensional model on the symmetry line of the gas film in the parallel disc gap were obtained by theoretical deduction, programming and using the predictor-corrector method. The results show that for the one-dimensional model, the Mach number on the symmetry line of the gas film always shows a decreasing trend, and the friction coefficient always shows an increasing trend, but the friction coefficient changes very little in the whole parallel disk gap; for bearing discs with different materials, the relative roughness of the wall will change due to different finishing processes, then the friction coefficient of the wall will change significantly, that is, the friction coefficient is greatly affected by the relative roughness; using the average friction coefficient in the calculation process can obtain similar results and meet the calculation accuracy requirements.
