- Abstract
The article focuses on the history of finding water for gold in California and Australia. It state that gold was discovered at Sutter's sawmill in Coloma, California in January 1848 while English born Edward Hargraves, who arrived in Australia in 1832, was the first to promote gold business in Australia. It adds that Coliban water scheme is already being operated by the Coliban Water, which is a government-owned utility which continuously extend and upgrade water supply infrastructure.
