In this article, the authors discusses false confessions induced by police and the methods to address this issue in Tennessee. Topics discussed include the need to record police interrogations, the need for legislative reforms to implement laws related to this, and a research by Thomas Sullivan, a supporter of the recording reform. Also mentioned are several court cases including the State v. Godsey of Tennessee Supreme Court and the Dickerson v. United States Supreme Court case of the U.S.
