Specification of the additional purposes for which the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority may grant licenses for research involving embryos under the 1990 Act; Contribution of the mapping of the human genome in enabling genetic tests to be carried out to identify possible diseases which could be around the corner; Changes needed in fertilization and embryology legislation.
