- Abstract
The article cites a study which examined disease risks in feral wild boar population in Saskatchewan. Topics discussed include analysis of boar carcasses, tissue samples, and serum by the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC); detection of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Lawsonia intracellularis, and Salmonella strains in some of the samples; and the high seroprevalence of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae serotype 14.
