- Abstract
Qualitative identification method of EKS acrylic composite fiber were discussed. Through the fiber qualitative identification methods like burning method, microscopic examination method, dissolution method, infrared spectroscopy method, pyrolysis method and so on, systemic identification method of EKS acrylic composite fiber was determined by combining the advantage of multiple aiding method. The test results showed that the burning phenomena and micromorphology of EKS acrylic composite fiber, the central layer dissolution phenomena under the boiling condition of 65% potassium rhodanide and trichloroacetic acid/trichloromethane provided important evidence for the qualitative identification of EKS acrylic composite fibers. Through infrared spectroscopy, auxiliary qualitative identification information could be obtained through combing melting test and thermogravimetric analysis. In the end, according to the characteristic split product in the thermal pyrolysis method, qualitative identification of EKS acrylic composite fiber could be done accurately. It is considered that EKS acrylic composite fiber can be effectively identified through combining multiple qualitative methods.
