- Abstract
The article discusses research being done on the use of Janus kinase 2 mutation (JAK) inhibitor ruxolitinib in the treatment of recalcitrant dermatomyositis. It references a study by T. Hornung et al. published in the 2014 issue of the "New England Journal of Medicine," which examined the effectiveness of glucocorticoids, azathioprine, intravenous immune globulin, mycophenolate mofetil and prednisone that are previously used in postpolycythemia vera myelofibrosis.
