- Abstract
This article consists of a series of literature reviews summarizing research on the economic history of Great Britain during the year 2007. Common themes addressed in these essays include home economics, economic factors in the legal system and government, and the history of economic thought. The periodization of these pieces runs from 400-1100, 1100-1500, 1500-1700, 1700-1850, 1850-1945, and 1945-2007. The relationships between British economic history and developments in fields such as historical archaeology, the history of sport, and social history are considered.
