- Abstract
The article discusses a study which assessed the incidence of single-nucleotide mutations and in/del in the coding sequence of IKAROS (IKZF1), a transcription factor made up of the C-terminal and an N-terminal domain. The work showed the presence of IKZ1 mutations in at least 10% of pediatric Philadelphia-Positive B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph+ BCP-ALLs) previously classified as IKZF1 WT on the basis of deletion analysis alone.
