The article presents a case study of a 58-year-old African American man having a history of hepatitis C infection. The patient was managed recombinant factor VIIa (rFVIIa), activated prothrombin complex concentrate (aPCC) and desmopressin (DDAVP) until the stabilization of haematocrits. Postdischarged, he received eight cycles of cyclophosphamide and oral prednisone which led in a partial response.
