- Abstract
The article discusses the provisions of the customs union agreement between Turkey and the European Union (EC) established on December 31, 1995. The provisions include free movement of goods and related issues, dispute settlements and possible abolition of trade barrier against Turkey. In line with the agreement, Turkey is obliged to adopt to the competition and state aid rules of EC as one of its trading partners.
