- Title
Keynes's Z function: a reply to Hartwig and Brady.
- Authors
Hayes, M. G.
- Abstract
The article presents the author's discussion relating to the analysis of John Hartwig and Michael Brady on the foundations of Keynes' economics. It offers a detailed presentation that the author would like to provide by giving insight and emphasis on some keypoints such as the inadmissible assumption of homogeneous total output for exact quantitative analysis, the alleged confusion of prices in the total demand and supply functions, and the mathematical model assigned by the author to the existing models previously presented. It also cites several derived facts from the previous study conducted by Hartwig and Brady, and subject insertions from Keynes' "The General Theory."
