- Abstract
The article focuses on the Building Castles Together (BCT) project and the collaborative project from which it was originated. BCT is an interdisciplinary collaborative project that draws on cultural communication and art to stabilize relationships, improve clinical services and develop community. The article also focuses on five elements of the collaboration, which include mutuality and reciprocity, diversity and interdisciplinarity, and community integration. The BCT group conducted community meetings and workshops to derive specific actions from interested members.
