- Abstract
The study is prepared with the foresight of making product, service and process innovation sustainable by applying innovative methods to increase the competitiveness of enterprises in the global market. In Denizli thermal tourism accommodation enterprises, it is analyzed whether the empowerment affects the innovative behavior of the employee and whether the demographic characteristics differ significantly with empowerment and the innovative behavior of the employee. Within the scope of the analysis, the empowerment scale and the innovative behavior scale of the employee are applied in the survey study for a total of 201 employees from 11 thermal tourism accommodation enterprises operating in Denizli. The data obtained are evaluated in the SPSS 20.0 package program. As a result of the research, it is revealed that empowerment has a positive effect on the innovative behavior of the employee and it is demonstrated that increasing level of education as the key of empowerment supports innovation.
