- Abstract
The article reports on a study that examines blood profile of compounds such as copper, zinc, and iron in cyclic and non-cyclic surti buffaloes. As stated, the average serum copper level of cyclic buffalo is recorded as 1.2 and 0.44, whereas non-cyclic buffalo 0.36 and 0.06 parts per million (PPM). However it is found that naturally occurring zinc deficiency is rare in livestock but reports of improvement in reproductive performance following dietary zinc supplementation.
