- Abstract
The article describes the case of a five-year-old child diagnosed with Langerhans' cell histiocytosis (LCH) with pulmonary involvement. Topics covered include miliary mottling of the patient as revealed by a chest radiograph, chemotherapy administered to the patient following the LCH diagnosis and the importance for clinicians to search for an alternative diagnosis if there is no response to tuberculosis treatment in patients with miliary shadowing in the lungs.
