- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 52-year-old woman who was suffering from Hailey–Hailey disease and topiramate treatment was introduced for migraine prophylaxis in the patient. It discusses the Hailey–Hailey disease which is known as familial benign chronic pemphigus, related to autosomal dominant genodermatosis characterized by vesicular lesions, painful erosions and fissures. It also mentions the effect of the disease on calcium channels and intracellular levels.
