- Abstract
The article presents a study to analyze the effect of cochlear implantation versus hearing amplification in patients affected with auditory neuropathy spectrum disorder (ANSD). The study employed patients with ANSD who were treated at the Vanderbilt University from 1999 to 2011. The study revealed that two hearing amplification users underwent neuromaturation and therefore they were excluded from further studies.
