- Abstract
The article offers information on the research "Petrogenesis of the Early Cretaceous Lianyang Granitic Complex, South China: Tectonic and Metallogenic Implications" by Ma Xinghua and colleagues. It concludes that the granite of Lianyang pluton was formed during a thermal event instead of forming due to fractional crystallization of the earlier major-phase granite and were derived from partial melting of the Proterozoic parametamorphic basement.
