The article focuses on the report of American Bar Association (ABA) which highlighted the inadequacies of the Texas Capital Punishment System and changes such as improvement in habeas corpus, judicial independence and vigilance and intellectual disability and mental illness. It mentions fairness of post-conviction relief in Texas, educating the public about judicial independence and recommendations as to intellectual disability necessary in Texas.
