- Abstract
The article discusses U.S. immigration law, birthright citizenship, and the meaning of the Citizenship Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution as of July 2012. The status of illegal immigrants in America is addressed, along with an examination of several legal cases such as the Kansas Supreme Court case Golden v. Cockril and the Kentucky Supreme Court case Nutter v. Russell.
