- Title
Potential setback for Kwinana hydrogen.
- Abstract
The article reports that plans by Hydrogen Energy have suffered a potential setback through the discovery that geological structures between Perth and Rottnest Island in Australia, which the company had considered using to store sequestered carbon dioxide, are likely to leak. A survey by Geoscience Australia, reported in "The Australian" newspaper, suggests that the underground formation is likely to contain a gas-chimney. Details of the feasibility study being conducted by Hydrogen Energy into the Kwinana project are offered.
