- Abstract
The article offers criticism of the poem "Ode to Psyche," by John Keats. The author discusses listening in relation to literary reading and suggests that lyric poetry creates music within the printed verse. Other topics addressed include Keats' use of the mythological character Psyche to create a "Romance" theme, themes of enlightenment in the poem, and Keats' use of the Hyperion myth.
