- Abstract
The article presents information of mammalian species namely Mydaus marchei (M.marchei). M. marchei can be established from M. javanensis, the only other species in the genus, by its smaller size, smaller ears, shorter tail, and larger teeth. M. marchei has a pointed face, a slightly elongated and mobile snout, shot and stout limps, plaintigrade feet, strong recurved claws on front feet, and well developed anal scent glands; ears and eyes are small. M. marchei has been described as nocturnal, and as active both day and night.
