- Authors
Eisner, Susan P.
- Abstract
The article deals on strategies to manage Generation Y young men and young women in the workplace. Gen Y individuals are those born after the year 1980. A table is presented for comparison of Gen Y to previous generations. Comparisons were based on the categories of values, socialization, events, style, assets, lacking factors, and quality. It states that Gen Y employees value self-development and are goal-oriented. They can be an asset for an organization since they have characteristics which make them easier to manage than Gen X.
