- Abstract
An essay on engagement of Chinese dynasty dramas with policy debates about the course of China's transformation from anti-corruption to officialdom is presented. Topics discussed include Chinese television presenting topic of corruption until antigraft campaigns under Chinese Premier Xi Jingping; development of Chinese serial dramas from China's narrative tradition and exposure to global serial narrative and Chinese version of the U.S television series "House of Cards" far from moral ambiguity.
