Human genome: Genomes by the thousand.
Abstract
The article presents a survey conducted to more than 90 genomics centers and laboratories worldwide which examines the number of human genome sequences that they studied. Findings reveal that at least 2,700 human genomes will be completed by the end of October 2010 and more than 30,000 in 2011. It also indicates the rate at which genomes are sequenced including personal, disease and population.
