The article focuses on the development of various submersibles that could be utilized for deep sea explorations. It discusses some of the deep sea explorations which were started by William Beebe and Otis Barton on June 3, 1930. It states that the Bathysphere, the pressure sphere used by Beebe and Barton has led the way for the development of various submersibles like Trieste, a bathyscaph built by Auguste Piccard.
