Abstract
Rushd. If many Arab and non-Arab researchers included Ibn Rushd's thought within the intellectual system of the Middle Ages, where transmission dominated the mind, then this article defends the basic idea that Ibn Rushd, despite being living in the Middle Ages, established for himself a rational philosophical approach that made his thought closer to modern times. The paper defends this statement through examining original texts of Ibn Rushd, in addition to multiple readings about his philosophy.
