- Abstract
The article reports that the U.S. citizens have taken an initiative to revolt against the prevelance of corruption in the local government bodies. It states that most of the U.S. states have resorted to international standards on fighting corruption and have emphasised on implementation of laws which ensure proper management of public resources. It mentions that division within the social-economic class in the U.S. has led to political, military and economic corruption.
