- Abstract
The authors discuss the application of a novel method (shear-driven chromatography) to propel mobile phase in high-resolution/high-speed liquid chromatography, and so attempt to overcome the pressure- and voltage-drop limitations of both high performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrochromatography. Also discussed are the challenges faced and opportunities available to interface such systems to mass spectrometry and UV/visible absorption detectors.
