- Abstract
The article discusses a study on natural occurrence of persistent infection (PI) with bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) based on maternal immune response in dairy herd. The study investigated expressions of interleukin-4 (IL-4), C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4), and cytokine. The study found that low maternal cytokine and CXCR4 expressions in BVDV-contaminated herd compared to the BVDV-free herd.
