- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of the immunoinhibitory receptor programmed death 1 (PD-1) and its ligands PD-L1 and PD-L2 in the formation of tumors of Marek's disease virus (MDV) and also reflects on the anti-tumor effect of its vaccine. The study reveals that the expression of PD-1, PD-L1 and PD-L2 increase in chickens infected with MDV and it also disrupts the host immune response.
