- Abstract
The aim of the study is to present changes introduced in recent years in the labelling of food products and to examine opinions of the consumers affected by food related illnesses, whether these changes are perceived by them as satisfying. The legal considerations concerning label marking were shown The label marking rules of products of special nourishing were presented on the example of marking of products labels used in bakeryconfectionery "Adar".The results of the survey carried out among the consumers affected by illnesses of nourishing origin were also presented. The labels on the products of "Adar" firm are constructed according to the requirements and do not have any erroneous information. The results of questionnaire specify the increase of personal interest among consumers about the information contained on the labels, though they do not consider all graphic signs as clear.
